No. FormaFile uses modern web technologies to process your files directly inside your browser. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy and security. All processing happens locally on your computer.

Processed files are stored locally in your browser (using IndexedDB) so you can review and save/export the results. These files remain only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Output files typically remain available until you click Start Over on the results page. As a best-effort cleanup, results may also be cleared when you leave the results page or close the tab (behavior can vary by browser).

On the results page, use Start Over to clear the temporary output files stored in your browser.

To remove the Recent Work entry (a lightweight record of your last completed job on this browser), visit Recent Work and choose Clear History.

To remove all FormaFile site data (including any remaining IndexedDB storage and localStorage metadata), clear this site's storage from your browser settings.

FormaFile stores a device-only Recent Work entry in your browser storage so you can quickly return to your last completed job. This record is lightweight metadata (for example: tool, timestamp, and file count) and is never sent to our servers.

FormaFile uses minimal anonymous analytics to understand tool usage and performance. The footer includes a visible Privacy & Analytics toggle that lets you turn analytics off anytime. We track only anonymous summaries such as tool opens, file counts, processing duration, device type, browser type, page performance, save actions, and high-level referrer info. We do not track filenames, file contents, added documents, or personal data.
