Privacy & Security
Are my files sent to your servers?
No. FormaFile uses modern web technologies to process your files directly inside your browser. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy and security. All processing happens locally on your computer.
Do you store my processed files?
Processed files are stored locally in your browser (using IndexedDB) so you can review and save/export the results. These files remain only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Depending on your browser, closing the tab may not immediately remove stored data — use the app's "Start Over"/clear controls or your browser's storage settings to remove saved data when you want.
How do I delete stored files?
Open the results page and use the Clear Stored Files button. That removes your uploaded and processed files from local browser storage. If you want to remove everything manually, you can also clear this site's storage from your browser settings.
How is my history stored?
FormaFile keeps a local history of your recent operations on your device using browser storage. This history is stored only on your computer and is never sent to our servers. You can clear your history anytime through your browser settings, which will remove all FormaFile records from your device.
Pricing & Usage
Is FormaFile free to use?
FormaFile is free to use with no hidden costs today. You can process files without a subscription; most tools are available at no charge. If you plan to use FormaFile for commercial or heavy automation workflows, please contact us for options and support.
What file formats are supported?
FormaFile supports a wide range of formats including PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and WebP. Each tool is optimized for specific formats. Check the individual tool page for detailed format support information.
Are there file size limits?
There are no strict file size limits. FormaFile can handle large files, but practical limits depend on your device's available memory. Most modern devices can process files up to 100+ MB without issues. For extremely large files, processing speed may be slower.
Can I process multiple files at once?
Yes! FormaFile supports batch processing for most tools. You can add and process multiple files simultaneously, making it easy to handle large projects efficiently.
How fast is the processing?
Processing speed depends on your device's performance and file size. Most files are processed within seconds. For batch operations or very large files, it may take longer. Your browser will display a progress indicator during processing.
Platform Support
What platforms are supported?
FormaFile works on any modern web browser, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, on both desktop and mobile devices. As long as you have a compatible browser, FormaFile is accessible from any device.
Does FormaFile work on mobile devices?
Yes, FormaFile works on mobile devices including iOS and Android. The interface is optimized for touch interactions. However, some advanced features like precise image cropping may work better on desktop. Mobile devices with more RAM will perform better with larger files.
What browser versions do I need?
FormaFile works best on modern browsers (released in the last 2-3 years). Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, and Edge 90+ are fully supported. For older browser versions, some features may not work properly. We recommend updating to the latest version of your browser.
Do I need an internet connection?
FormaFile requires an internet connection to load the application initially. However, once the page is fully loaded, file processing happens locally on your device and will continue even if your connection is interrupted. You'll need to reconnect to access new tools.
