FormaFile handles all file operations using local sandbox processing models. File streams are parsed into browser RAM. No servers store, see, or touch your PDF or image content.
Security Specifications
- No Server Relays: Files never leave your machine. Calculations occur locally within the browser context.
- WebAssembly Containers: Heavy compilation algorithms utilize compiled, sandboxed WebAssembly execution to process data securely.
- Encrypted History Sandbox: Recent Work history compiles metadata locally. Clearing browser data or IndexedDB permanently wipes it out.
- Zero Network Outflow: Core layout and conversion engines require no network requests. You can run all calculations offline.
